Cybersecurity engineer
About The Role
● Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
● Troubleshooting security and network problems.
● Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
● Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
● Participating in the change management process.
● Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
● Perform testing of in-house software for cyber security issues. Proposing security improvements for in-house software.
● Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant engineers and management, and other departments in the organization.
● Report to the head of IT department.
Key Requirements
- A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
- At least 3 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, forensics, implementing and maintaining the cyber security controls, incident response.
- Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance, from at least 2 brands), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.
