System Engineer
About The Role
The IT System Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT and Data Center infrastructure. This includes servers, operation systems, system software, virtualization, backups, monitoring. The IT System Engineer will ensure that the Data Center infrastructure is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
● Design, implement, configure, and maintain the Data Center infrastructure.
● Operate the Data Center infrastructure, and ensure that it is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
● Monitor the Data Center IT infrastructure for uptime, performance, and security.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues with servers, operation systems, and other related systems.
● Provide technical support to users.
● Stay up to date on the latest IT technologies
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as IT System Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of hardware servers, system software, virtualization (VMWare or others), backup systems, disk storages, and monitoring.
- Practical knowledge and experience in: √ Windows Server – minimum 4 years of experience. √ One or some of Linux, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Debian, or other Unix and their variations – minimum 4 years of experience. √ Server hardware (rack
