JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of electrical products. This role ensures accurate technical support to the sales team, maintains strong relationships with suppliers, and guarantees that all products meet industry standards and customer requirements. The position plays a key role in driving business growth through technical expertise and solution-based selling.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Support & Advisory

• Provide technical consultation and support to the sales team and customers.

• Recommend suitable electrical products and solutions based on project requirements.

• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training.

• Troubleshoot product-related issues and provide timely solutions.

2. Product Management

• Manage and maintain technical specifications, catalogs, and documentation.

• Evaluate new products and suppliers for potential partnership.

• Ensure product compliance with local and international standards.

• Coordinate product testing and certification if required.

3. Sales Collaboration

• Work closely with the sales team to support tenders, quotations, and project proposals.

• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.

• Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support.

4. Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for technical updates and support.

• Build strong relationships with key partners and vendors.

• Negotiate technical terms and ensure product quality standards.

5. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor technical engineers and support staff.

• Conduct internal training to enhance product knowledge and technical skills.

• Set KPIs and monitor team performance.

6. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet safety regulations and quality standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.

• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
